VISION
Kohima Science College is anchored in the concept of science education. It was established in view of the growing aspirations of the Naga people for science education in the state through the initiative of some prominent citizens of Nagaland. This small group of men felt the need to bring about positive changes in our land which was lacking in many aspects. To attain this they felt that science education be given priority as it would usher in technological development to augment the socio-economic condition of the people. The institute aims at initiating science education and to impress upon the students the need and importance of research. In this regard we realize that the college has a vast scope and role. We believe that the students are our best assets and we try our best to impart education to them worthy of emulation and relevant for the times and the times to come.
